Stitching History From the Holocaust, was on display at Jewish Museum Milwaukee in 2014 and again in 2018. This award-winning exhibition has traveled extensively throughout the United States, and recently has been featured at the Design Museum in Holon, Israel.
Stitching History From the Holocaustuses the narrative and imense talent of one individual to explore the Holocaust and the tragic loss of the talent and lives. Through the story of Hedy Strnad, the exhibit explored transcontinental connections during wartime, immigration law and constraints, Bohemian Jewish history, Theresienstadt concentration camp, and the fashion industry in Czechoslovakia.
